The Research section of ESGA (Experts for Security and Global Affairs Association) brings together a body of comprehensive, in-depth analysis produced by our network of experts, analysts, and researchers from Romania, the Republic of Moldova, the Euro-Atlantic space, the former Soviet Union, and the Middle East. As an independent think tank established in 2014, ESGA is committed to fostering a rigorous understanding of the complex political, socio-economic, and security dynamics that define these regions.
This section features three core types of research outputs:
Policy Papers provide detailed, evidence-based assessments of regional policy challenges, contributing to strategic thinking and decision-making processes.
Country Papers explore bilateral relations and national contexts, helping to decode the motivations and internal developments of individual states.
Analytical Reports offer thematic evaluations of cross-border trends and systemic risks, with a focus on security, diplomacy, governance, and economic cooperation.
All research is designed to inform a broad audience, including policymakers, civil society, academics, and journalists, and contributes to ESGA’s broader mission of shaping well-grounded policy strategies through collaborative expertise.
